Bavani is a Senior Manager in the Security & Privacy Team withing Risk Advisory Services. Based in Perth, she has over 15 years’ IT operations experience having worked as an Infrastructure / System Engineer for two of the big four audit firms.
She has over a decade of experience in leading and delivering cyber security, IT, strategy, risk and resilience projects in a consulting capacity, which included onboarding and service delivery for 24/7 managed security services and leading cyber and forensic investigations. She also led the Cyber Resilience practice at Deloitte Africa.
During her career she has had firsthand experience in implementing IT solutions and responding to crisis. She has helped clients recover from IT disasters, cyber incidents and business disruptions such as floods, COVID-19 and riots. She brings her real-life hands-on experience to all her clients supporting them with practical and fit-for purpose solutions and recommendations.
