Speaker – Billy Sung
Professor Curtin University
TALK:
For many small and medium-sized enterprises, AI is exciting but also overwhelming. The temptation is to jump straight into using the latest tools for content creation, automation, or data analysis, but without a clear plan these efforts can waste time, money and focus. In this session, Billy Sung will show why “strategy before tools” is essential for AI success and how an AI roadmap can help SMEs move from curiosity to measurable results. Using real-world examples, he will share a practical five-step framework: define the opportunity, audit and prepare data, select the right tools, run small pilots and measure before scaling. Participants will learn how to identify the most valuable areas for AI in their business and avoid common pitfalls.
